The month of June
This month is definitely not as busy as the past couple of months. I think everything has finally calmed down. Summer is almost here. The first week of June will be transition week for the summer program. The actual summer program begins on June 8th. This summer our lessons will be focused around the environment and all of its ecosystems.

The Month of April
Well, the month of April is almost over. I cannot believe how fast it went. It must be because of the Art Show. Wow, we did it. It was a very busy time in the classroom. But it paid off, our room was magical the night of the Art Show. I am so proud of our boys and girls. They worked so hard and it showed.

The Month of February
I cannot believe it is February already. Wow it has been an awesome first half of the school year. The Christmas pageant was amazing. We are back into the swing of things during our morning lessons. Ms. Tina is back to new letters, Ms. Carly is introducing new numbers, and Mr. Will is continuing to travel across the United States. Our project for the next couple of weeks is Weather which will tie in a lot of science experiments.

101 Days of School - Dalmatian Style
Wow we had a wonderful day! The boys and girls had wonderful time celebrating 101 days of schools. We made puppy dog ears, counted 101 steps from our room to various places in the building, and we counted out groups of 10 using 10 different types of food and of course 1 more. All the shirts looked amazing.
The month of December
We cannot believe that Thanksgiving as come and gone already. The time is just flying by. We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break.
Christmas Flower sale has Begun-All orders are due December 15, with Pick up on December 22
Thank you everyone for bringing in the milk cartons. We will continue to collect them.
Your children are working really hard and we are so proud of them.
Some important things to remember:
*The weather is changing. Please remember to send in a nice warm coat with gloves and a hat.
*Our Christmas play/Santa's Breakfast is scheduled for December 19th, still unsure the exact time, will let you know as soon as we know.
*Popcorn Hat Players will be here December 9th.
*Jump bunch on December 18th.
*The center is closed December 24 and 25.
*Center closes at 3:00 on December 31 and closed January 1st.
Week of September 29, 2014
We are so excited about all the things we have been doing in class. We have been learning a lot. We are doing a wonderful job with all our letters. In math we are discussing spatial relations. In Social Studies we are still discussing the communities and all the special people that help us be the best we can be. In Science we are learning about the differences between living and non-living things.
Yesterday we had a visitor at school, The Butterfly Man, he was wonderful. We learned so much about butterflies and how we can catch and raise our own butterflies at home. The children loved him and were so excited about what he had to share.
Candle Fundraiser is up and running! If you would like to preview the sizes, colors, and smells they will be available on Monday September 29, 2014.
On Wednesday October 1, 2014 we will be having our Vision Screening here at school. If you filled out the paperwork to have your child screened they will be screened this day.
Upcoming News: Monday October 6, 2014 we will sending home Octobers Family Homework sheet. The trains were wonderful. They were all so creative and amazing. Wednesday October 8, 2014 Is our out of building FIELD TRIP. We will be going to Old Sword Farm leaving at 10:00 and arriving back around 1:00. If you have not already turned in your field trip money please get that to the office as soon as possible. Also if you do not have a Children's Garden field trip shirt for your child please stop by the office and pick one up. All children MUST wear their Children's Garden Field Trip Shirt this day.
Week of August 25:
First day of school was great. It was so great to see all the parents last night.
* If you did not have a chance to fill out your emergency form last night, please make sure to grab one from us and fill out when you pick up your child. We need all finished by the end of this week.
* If you did not turn in your getting to know your child handout please get that to us as soon as you can.
We are going to have a great year this year. We are so excited for this year.
